Her passion lies in coordinating community engagement activities aimed at preventing and responding to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). Through her extensive experience, she has honed the art of providing holistic psychosocial support to survivors of SGBV, fostering resilience and healing within these communities.

Marlene's academic journey reflects her unwavering dedication to her cause. Armed with a Master's degree in Governance and Regional Integration from the prestigious Pan African University, she brings a deep understanding of the structural aspects that underpin gender inequality. Her Bachelor's degree in Social Work further enriches her ability to connect with and empower individuals and communities. Marlene's presence on our team is a testament to her belief that systemic change is achieved through grassroots efforts, and her passion for creating a world where every individual can live free from the shackles of gender-based violence.
